URBAN MEDIA ART ACADEMY
The Urban Media Art Academy is a networked global educational initiative focused on urban media art. It investigates and intermediates urban media art as an interdisciplinary domain of practice, theory and knowledge sharing. It facilitates knowledge production and sharing about urban media art as an aesthetic interference in current and future urban environments. The Academy is realised through a worldwide partner network of distinguished artists, art curators, universities, NGO’s, cultural windows 10 key sale centres and other institutions, and creative thinkers.
The Urban Media Art Academy is founded by Susa Pop and Tanya Toft on the basis of the book What Urban Media Art Can Do: Why When Where & How (Av Edition, 2016).
Urban Media Art Academy is co-funded by Future DiverCities project in the framework of Creative Europe Programme
