We are happy to welcome two new partners to the Connecting Cities Network: Northbridge Piazza / Perth, Australia and Atklāj Rīgu / Riga, Latvia!

Northbridge Piazza @ Perth

The Northbridge Piazza is home to Perth’s very first free outdoor movie theatre. Located in the heart of Northbridge, the Piazza grounds consist of the LED Superscreen, a multi-purpose community building, a versatile stage and a grassed area.

The Superscreen showcases a variety of features from the latest films to cult classics, creative presentations, sports and music. The grass and staged area plays host to a variety of events including festivals, performances, exhibitions, sporting events, live music, talks and other cultural activities.

Atklāj Rīgu @ Riga

Non-profit organisation Atklāj Rīgu ('Reveal Riga') was established in 2013 with the aim to promote the city of Riga, to document events in Riga, and organise and support events that promote the recognition of Riga. From an initially small association with an exhibition house in the Old Town of Riga, at present Atklāj Rīgu has become a guide for a broad spectrum of cultural processes.

Currently, 'Reveal Riga' comprises several dozens of members, who on their spare time organise events, design and produce exhibitions, develop light objects, facilitate the movement of light objects internationally, as well as participate in provision of high-quality merchandising management.
