Intermediate positions between painting and mapping

Light_Act_Project is a project of HBKsaar initiated by xm: lab - Experimental Media Lab in cooperation with the state capital of Saarbrücken and Energie SaarLorLux.
By the Light_Act_Project - presented from the 25th to the 27th of April 2014 - students and teachers of the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar (HBKsaar) present a concept developed for the Berliner Promenade in Saarbrücken. It combines a variety of artistic positions shown on the urban architectual facades.
The temporary light art project of the HBKsaar and of the University Institute xm:lab - Experimental Media Lab is realised in cooperation with the state capital Saarbrücken and Energie SaarLorLux.
Under the leadership of Prof. Daniel Hausig, Ingo Wendt and Henrik Elburn the students observe the interaction of space and projected images in situ. During the last 18 months artistic concepts for the architectual facades of the 1950s and 1960s resulted outgoing from painting, drawing, photography, animation and video. The international working curator Bettina Catler-Pelz attends the complete development process of the project.
