@ Palais des Congrès // Paris, France
The dates are published and the warm-up can start for the Professional Lighting Design Convention 2017 in Paris, France!
For the PLDC Paris edition, the organisers are proud to announce that the conference format has been modernised in accordance with feedback provided by an international Think Tank and other partners.
PLDC remains a four-track conference, but the structure has been amended slightly so that the audience will only have to select between three papers at the same time, instead of four. The Research track has been split into two and will feature 20-minute papers on research findings from independent researchers and designers plus cutting-edge R&D input. The amended conference format does not mean we are losing on the number of speakers, but rather raises the overall quality of the conference.
The Call for Papers, will be released on 1. September, 2016.
In preparation for the convention in Paris, and to give the Professional Lighting Design community the opportunity to meet on a regular basis in the run-up to PLDC, a series of warm-events are being held in different parts of the world.
The events can take many different forms: evening events, breakfast meetings, film screenings, museum visits, Pecha Kucha presentations, etc. – in a great networking scenario, and always with an element of fun, of course!
Check out the PLDC website for further information, dates, and venues for the warm-up events.
